Chado Demonstration for 21st Anniversary of the relationship between Gosford and Edogawa

By Hideaki Kobayashi

Gosford city formed a Sister City Agreement with Edogawa-ku (Part of Tokyo) in
1988. Through this relationship Gosford city has received a beautiful Traditional Japanese Garden as their gift from Edogawa council. This Garden officially opened in September 1994. In celebration of the 21st anniversary Gosford City Council hosted a family cultural day. On the day there were many Japanese culture demonstrations in the Garden.
